Hey guys, I am looking for a new LCD for the computer I am building.

specs:
Intel e4300
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3
2x1gb GSkill F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ ddr2 800
Evga 8800gts

I am looking for something in the $350 and under range. Was thinking about widescreen, but not sure if a lot of the games I am looking forward too support widescreen (Supreme Commander, C&C 3...).

Some of the models I am looking at are

NEC 90gx2
BenQ FP202W
CHIMEI 221D
LG L1932TQ (pretty cheap at my Best Buy $229)
Samsung 931BF

Many of these have been recommended by others in this forum, but I can always find negative reviews for them. The cheaper the better really cause I spent a pretty penny on the rig itself, but don't want to be stuck with a total pile of crap monitor. Any help would be great.

thanks

Troy

Hello. I just purchased the X2gen 22" MW22U? (5ms response time) for $289.00 from MicroCenter. I do NOT recommend this set-up for gaming. The (5ms response time) is actually too slow! Look for a 2ms minimal. Also maybe a 19" - 20" non-wide screen. The resolution on the wide 22" is not very good. The 5ms is ok but I should have done a bit more research and got the 2ms for a few bucks more.

My set up:
ASUS P4P800E-Dlx - MB
P4 512kb 3.0CGHz. 800FSB CPU *soon to upgrade to the 3.4GHz. Northwood
Zelman - CNPS700B
SATA 500gb Maxtor HD
2-Mushkin 3200 400MHz. + 2-Corseair 3200 400MHz. Memory 3+3+3+8
Ultra 500W PS
XFX GeForce 7800GS Extream Edition AGP 8X Graphics Card
HP CD-Writer Plus
Maddog CD-RW
HP dvd740 / lightscribe DVD Burner - External
My last BenchMark 3DMark03 score = 12956 - Good enough for my gaming!

If thats the case it pretty much leaves with at a 19 nw. All the 20 nw on newegg are 400+ it seems. Is that sammy any good? I have heard a bunch of people like the 90gx2, but is it really worth an extra 100 over the 931bf?
