I`m building a computer for a buddy and haven't had to build any in a few months so I`m really not up to date on recent video cards and what's good in the price range.

I recently found this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102483

And the features, and speed seem great for hte price.

Is there a better option for $200 or less  (PCI Express x16 = a must)

Thanks

:)

Its a great card for the money. Should play games great for years if hes only a casual gamer.

It plays games maximized right now unless you need uber-high resolution. It's a steal for that price, I bought mine for $480 9 months ago. Although mine is AGP...

Hey Toddw2, this is Toddw1...

Couldn't get the link to open, but I'd get a 7600GT. I'm assuming this wasn't the card you had in mind, as PWMK2 said he had an AGP version.

Basicly the 7600GT is just barely faster than a 6800GT but without the heat and consumes less power. Also doesn't require additional power plugged in from the power supply.
