Good Financial Software?

I'm in the market for a good all-in-one solution that will allow me to do the following:
  • Keep track of my personal finances (checking, savings, credit card(s), loan(s), maybe even stocks / 401k)
  • Keep track of my business finances (checking, savings, business credit cards, maybe even invoices)
  • Help keep track of when bills are do (personal) or when invoices are due (business)
I've tried Microsoft Accounting but that appears to be Business oriented only (I'd rather not split my managing up as it would be easier to manage in one solution). I've tried Microsoft Money but I believe it's discontinued so I haven't picked it back up (this may have the features I am looking for... not sure).

Should I try Microsoft Money again and if so, was it discontinued? Are there any other recommendations?

Obviously free / open-source software would be ideal but I do not expect to get financial software that meets my needs for free but I also don't want to spend too much on it (I'd say my limit is $100 - $200 max). Any suggestions?

I really wanted to like GnuCash (I love free and open-source software) but this applications is just really bad. Did they ever try the application themselves or am I that bad at using it (shouldn't it be extremely easy?)? For instance, if you add an account under the Accounts page then add a starting amount and then add other transfers, it immediately shows these items as duplicate accounts (i.e. Opening Balance account, Imbalance account, etc). It doesn't make any sense to me and it has no undo or redo functionality that I could find.

Any other suggestions?

AceMoney lite is free but only works with one account. The paid version works with multiple accounts. I've used it at home and really like it.

Mint.com - I was excited about this and tried it about two weeks ago. It's in ALPHA stage IMHO. Regions bank doesn't work, AmSouth sometimes works, sometimes not. It will add my credit cards and student loans, one week later they don't work. Text notifications and email, if you actually get any, they are 5 days late. Meh.

Mint.com seems great, but I can't use it with my credit union account. I've even had my credit union contact them, and they don't respond. I even contacted them about my credit union trying to get in touch and no one responded to me. They don't seem to care, so I no longer visit the site. Wish I could use it though.

Thanks for the ideas! I'm going to steer clear of Mint since it stores my data on its databases (I don't need yet another place where it could be compromized). AceMoney is ok.

I decided to reinstall Money 2007 and it's very nice, actually. I was able to get it to automatically download all of my credit card transactions, my stock transactions, and I put in my other bank accounts. Very nice but I'll take a look at QuickBooks as well.

Your post prompted me to login to Mint and try to remove information. To my surprise, they have an option to delete your account. Who knows how completely they delete it, but it's something. I didn't have much involved anyway since my bank isn't supported.

Microsoft Money is awesome IMO. They really got it right with some of the newer versions.

Quickbooks is so bloated in the newer versions that I try to steer clear of it.

MS Money I like. I don't trust no-name applications or websites to handle my personal financial information.

Microsoft Money was not discontinued, but MS decided to sell it solely on their own website.

From Wikipedia: "Microsoft has decided to discontinue the practice of releasing a new version of the product each year, and as such, no release is planned for 2009. Additionally, the company will no longer ship boxed versions of Microsoft Money to retail stores, instead selling the product only through online downloads. Boxed versions of the product will remain available at retail outlets only for as long as the supplies of those units already shipped remain."

Weird that you should say that. I just read that on an MS Money blog. Heh. My version (2007) will be discontinued in Sep 2009 so I'll need to upgrade at some point to continue using their online services.

I tried ms money but hated it. I'm going to try quicken but hope it's not too bloated.

I won't allow any website to store my financials. I don't trust them. They will no doubt use the information for marketing purposes.

Why else would it be free? I don't know if they have ads, but I'm pretty sure they'll alert you of deals and ways to save money based on your information. They might even have coupon programs with companies.

I could be wrong though. They don't support my bank, so I never used the site much.
