I thinking about buying a fan controller for my newly acquired HAF 922 case, I bought an extra side 200mm fan, so I need to control

3 * 200mm fans
1 * 120mm fan

Would Scythe KM02-BK be good or are there better alternatives?

hahaah.... not much feedback...

I'm leaning toward Sunbeam, due to their superior wattage... Also it would be cool DIY project to mod Extreme to RED leds from BLUE....

The easiest would be to buy Zalman locally, but I'm afraid 7W channels are not enough....

Anyone????

The 120mm fan uses 5 watts max, unless it's a high performance 200+ cfm fan. The 200 probably use up to 10 watts or less. I had the Sunbeam 4 port controller, it was a nice piece of hardware. Unfortunately the knobs interfered with the door on my Cosmos (not a relevant issue for your 922). I would just say get whichever one looks nicer on your case, you shouldn't have to worry about hardware compatibility, since you're only controlling 4 fans. If you want to make sure the fans work with the zalman controller, look at the amperage rating on the fans, multiply it by 12, and you get how many watts the fan use (amperage is usually printed on the back label on the fan.)

Thanks a lot for your reply. ;)
