Hey guys, im looking into getting my own place soon so of course I need my first HDTV ready to go for my soon to be Xbox 360 and PS3. I dont' wanna shell out a ton of cash for one cause im not made outa money unfortuantly. Wal-mart has some screaming deals on this Sanyo TV that looked really good, even better to the Philips HDTV next to it. Better contrast and colors, even after I tweaked the Philips settings.
Whats your opinion on a decent entry level HDTV that won't put me into bankrupcy?

HDTV (High Definition Digital TV)

Off-Air Digital Signals (terrestrial)
An increasing number of TV stations are broadcasting DTV versions of some of their regular programming at the same time as their NTSC broadcasts using different channels assigned to them by the FCC. This unit can receive and decode all 18 ATSC digital television formats. All broadcasters are scheduled to switch to DTV broadcasts by 2006.
Almost all the digital channels can be received using a UHF antenna. Indoor antennas like rabbit ears or bowtie types should work if you are near the broadcast tower. But you will need a proper outdoor antenna if you are located 30-40 miles from the tower. Antenna height and an unobstructed line of sight affect signal reception. Buildings, steeples, towers and other structures taller than four stories within four blocks of your location can mask or deflect signals.

Wide-Screen 16:9 Aspect Ratio Flat Picture
The 16:9 ratio Wide-Screen gives the viewer a full picture of movies and broadcasts, rather than a normally cropped picture in the 4:3 ratio. The 16 by 9 format means that you can watch movies the way you would watch them in the theater while the true flat screen reduces reflections from room lights and windows for outstanding clarity and quality images from corner to corner.
2-Sets Component Video Input (Y-Pb-Pr / R-L)
Five -connector input takes advantage of DVD and other high definition signal sources. Video signal is divided into three separate elements; red, blue and luminance( image brightness) with dedicated Audio (R/L) jacks. Superior to both composite and S-video because it delivers a quality picture with great resolution, better color accuracy and less color bleeding.
3-Line Digital Comb Filter
Separates luminance
and chrominance (C) parts of a video signal . Provides high resolution and picture sharpness while eliminating 'dot crawl.' Also offers sharper, clearer, more detail-perfect color picture reproduction.
Scan Velocity Modulation
Controls the scanning speed of the electron beam, creating sharp transitions between the light and dark portions of the picture with crisp edges and outstanding clarity.
Audio/Video Connection Package includes

*Two S-Video Input Jacks
*Two sets of Video Input Jacks
