there's really not much to it. other cards beat it handily for not much more cost.
 
it will be fine with todays games but i dont know if it can hold up on Doom3 and HL2.

ok i know its not a REAL NICE card

and i didnt have anymore to spend... and i also know i could have gotton a card that was faster for the same price or even less.

i chose this one cuz it was DX9+ and had decent cooling (for stock) has video in and with a 350/700 speeds i figured it wouldnt be bad

i got this to play enemy territory and similar games. o ya and those winamp visializations :D :D :D think it can handle running those winamp plugins at say 1024/875 32bit with a lotta options on?

im upgrading from a GF2 TI so this sould be much better

Back onto the topic, i think a 9600pro is right up your alley, or if you're an NVIDIA person, get a 5700. Unless you want help, dont post.

I don't understand why you're being so hostile either because the card just does not run games well for a modern midrange card. It's that simple. The 9600/5700 line are much better midrange cards, and if you're willing to spend about $180, you could find a second hand 9700 pro or a 5900, which will murder the 5600 in its sleep.

so if my gf2ti played ET at 1024 high everything 50fps this card sould do atleast 90 give or take

ok so if this card is THAT shity how high sould i be able to OC it it does have halfway good cooling

so to test out i posed a few dif cards and they all cam back... yep your right!

so i had to go with my own thoughts atleast the #'s looked good well see tho i just think you all are too [H] its gotta be a pretty good card

Actually, what I saw was one person say that you should get the 5700, 9600, or 9800 pro( if you could afford it ). Then a few other people suggested the 9600 pro the XT. I dont see why this was so difficult...
