Is there a good, (cheapish) CPU cooler that does NOT require motherboard removeal?

Also, why in god's name does the HSF require so much pressure.


I thought I cracked my CPU with the ORIGINAL HSF

cant get any cheaper and better performance than this.. should work with out taking mobo out but all the best are bolt through>.. ( you should buy a bolt through kit for this and remove mobo..
 
+1 for arctic freezer 7 pro. don't be fooled by the price because it's so cheap now. for its size, it's a trooper. the thermal paste that comes on it is one of the better paste that you can find on the market, which is the MX-2.
