i just bought an ocz 520w powerstream power supply to power up my new system that i'm building, i'm putting in a 3.2g p4, asus p5ad2-e, ati x800xl, a dvd rom, dvd rw, a zip drive, a 160 gig barracuda, and about 5 fans going in an antec super lanboy case, will this be an adequate supply for what i need? i was gonna buy the pcp & cooling but i didnt have the extra $70.

Overkill but still an excellent power supply.

isnt that a PCI-E card?
thats 6.25A
plus a Prescott thats another 9.8A
4 drives and five fans all on the +12V

I wouldnt call that overkill
Id call it a reasonable upgrade path
the PCI-E spec just doubled its max power consumption
the next gen could easily hit 150W per (12.5A)

Nice thing about the Powerstreams, they are actually rated at 40C ;)
you should be fine, but its not overkill

does have considerable unused capacity on the +3.3\5V rail for backward compatibility though
but then again there are very few supplies that dont

I been running the Powerstream with my system for months now and not a single problem.
