tell me about it lol...

i know theres cheaper places by im trying to spec the computer for him and stuff plus i plan to offer this up as a cheap ass computer to other clients

I recommend getting this PSU:
Silverstone ST400 400W PSU - $50

Has almost as much power on the important +12V as the XClio Goodpower. 29A for the Silverstone VS 30A for the XClio. Got a decent review by HardOCP.

How much power do you need? The Silverstone is supposedly great for the price. The Antec Earthwatts 430 seems okay too. The 500 is a little pricey though. The Antec Basiq 500 is the right price but some ppl around here have been complaining about the noise.

That won't be PSU but more like time bomb...
Or maybe you want one of these "instant bombs":

(the most entertaining PC hardware review I've ever seen :p )

That Silverstone would be good choise for affordable PSU.
Or then Corsair VX450 which has been reviewed by Jonnyguru

Also SilentPCReview has tested lot of lower powered PSUs.

Newegg has the Antec 500W neohe If you sign up for the news letter and use the promo code there, the total will be 69.99 + free shipping and a 35.00 rebate to boot . Total cost with rebate 34.99. Now that's a deal.
