EVGA E-GEFORCE 6800GS 350MHZ 256MB 256BIT 1GHZ DDR3 AGP VGA DVI-I TV-OUT Video Card

Reg. Price: $279.96 CAD

NCIX.com (I'm Canadian so no newegg)

Buying a new system in another two years and wanted to upgrade on what i have now. Is this card worth the money?
The 7800 cards are way out of my price range.
Comments or suggestions on/about this card are encouraged.
Thanks.

XFX has a nice factory overclock and a double lifetime warranty. But if the XFX 6800GS is more than $300 CDN, it's not worth it.

I think maybe you should wait a bit. During the boxing week sale for NCIX I ordered the PCI-E version of EVGA's 6800GS for $229.96 CND. I believe that the AGP version was on sale for the same price then as well. The next sale is coming in in a week or so - it might pay off to wait until then.

I still haven't recieved the vid card since it's so busy right now at NCIX - but that's another story.

Forgot to mention that someone at NCIX has confirmed that the AGP version has unlockable pipes.
