what is a good and cheap cpu cooler (socket 755) for my intel q9400? has to be silence too!
 
A budget would be nice, my idea of "cheap" (30-40 bucks) may not be the same as yours. Also, will this chip be OCed?
 
Its gonna be tough to find good, cheap, and silent in one unit.
There are many units on the market, in many sizes.
some may not fit your case, some may require motherboard removal.
that being said if your not going to overclock the Arctic Freezer 7 pro is a decent choice....its pretty cheap, pretty quite and will do a decent job on a stock chip....it wasn't really designed for quads, but I had a Q6600 under one for a while and it handled it pretty well...

thanks but i am looking ino this LINK the coolit domino watercooling. this is my first built also. is it good? or should i h=just go with the regular cpu fans?

I would stay away from any "all in one" WCing kit, the coolit domino is known for being loud, I would say you are better off getting a TRUE with a good quality fan for cheaper.

just FYI, a domino is a little under $100 and is not considered budget, unless you're talking about water cooling only.

If this is your first build, I recommend trying out the stock cooler first to see if you need an aftermarket at all. Use the money you save to bump yourself up to a nicer video card or even a nice set of headphones (AD700).
