Good all-around lens for Canon Rebel XTi?

I paid too much for it... $355+10 shipping = $365. Didn't even come with a filter, but at least it had a lens hood. I got excited so I bid a lot. . Haven't tried it out yet... Waiting to get a filter before I do. I'll let you all know.

That's a decent price. I paid $380 last week for the lens, hood, and polarizer.

Decent, but some have been selling for around $350 with filter, hood, and lens. Oh well. I popped it on my Xti today and already I can tell this lens is gonna be awesome. I'll post some stuff in the artwerk threads when I get some more stuff.
