Good air cooling case?

Check out the Silverstone FT02. It's rotated 90 degrees design gives superior airflow IMO. I have no test numbers though, maybe some case with a giant door fan gives better temps, but the FT02 should give pretty good cooling/noise ratio.
I like the cases I've looked at so far. But I'd like more recommendations. Maybe if I were a bit more specific.
I'd like a low noise case. Mid to full tower. I'd prefere one with a lot of ekstra space for wires and when/if I have to do some work, I'm not finding it too dificult to see anything because of the cramped up hardware. But I really liked the FT02 one so far.

Coolermaster 690II advance, Lancool K62, Corsair 400R, Fractal Design arc midi.. Those are a few of the less expensive cases. There are a ton more - but I can't abide buy their looks. Those case are acceptable in the look department.
FT02 is a nice case but I don't like the length its layout creates in a case. I'd prefer a taller but not longer case.. There are a ton of good aircooling cases..
I'd add that many case designs are approaching the limit of really effective aircooling. What I mean is this - once you have a certain amount of airflow - additional airflow does you less and less good. So a case might have twice as much airflow but drop your temps only a bit OEM machines (Dell) can have comically bad airflow. But even 'modest' aftermarket cases with just 3 x 120mm fans can do a good job..

I'm using an antec twelve hundred, seems pretty good on air cooling, there is on loud whine but it moves alot of air, so there is a woosh when fans are set higher than the lowest settings.
It has 3 120mm in front, 2 in the back, and a 250mm on top.

I thought the obsidian series had poor air cooling, But it Is awesome at watercooling.
Pretty much any case now-a-days provides good cooling. I would stick to the big names like Lian Li, Silverstone, Coolermaster, Corsair, etc.
Find something that you like to appearance of, and go from there.

I guess if you think that that 3-140mm (bottom,mid,under harddrives) and 4-120mm (1-back, 3-top) plus the one
120mm on your PSU is poor cooling id hate to see what is awesome lol. But for real for me it was just fine its a huge case with lots and lots of fans. Also why I said all fans installed.
Silverstone FT02, hands down, not a single case out there can compare.period, the end.
Only downside is if you decide to want to watercool something...........then, not so much.

The Silverstone cases cool exceptionally well, But they are not the best.
The lanboy cools better along with a few others.

I like the idea of having A LOT of space for your video card. Because right now, I actually have 2 harddrive bays that is unusable because my video card is too long. I found a case earlier, but now I can't find it. But if the haf 932 and FT02 can handle a Nvidia 570, I will probably go for one of those. Does the "lanboy" have the room and features of the Silverstone?

If you continue to look at the Silverstone cases you want to lean towards either the FT02 or the RV03 as each do some of what you want.
The FT02 has some foam padding on the sidewalls to reduce noise which I believe is not on the Ravens. However, one drawback of the RV02/FT02 is that there isn't as much room as their should be on the back side of the case so it can get cramped with wiring even if you're pretty anal about your wiring. The FT02 is also a larger than mid tower so the size may be an issue for you.
The RV03 is redesigned a bit and has less depth, and is closer to traditional half tower dimensions. It also has way more room on the back for wires. However it isn't as nice in some ways as the FT02 (such as losing the hard drive cage) and I believe it lacks soundproofing so it will be most likely be louder.
"Low noise" is relative but I find my FT02 to be reasonably quiet even with 2x 6950's in it. I have the old case fans (move less air but are quieter) and those barely make any audible noise even on high; all the case noise pretty much comes from the video cards.
Thank you for that. I will check it out. But I definetily like the FT02. It doesn't HAVE to be Silverstone though. But it seems like they are the better choice at the moment. Or, one of the better choices.
I was hoping to go a bit lower then 80-90 degrees celsius when gaming. I don't know if it's possible with "only" air cooling. But right now I'm hanging at around 85 degrees under heavy load. It doesn't seem to go much higher no matter what, but I'd like it to be lower.
Not sure I like the phantom design either.
The HAF X cools better, Antec dark fleet does, Its just terribly hideous.
The silverstones only feature is 90 degree mobo mounting.
Lets face it the silverstone ft/rv cases cool very well but they are not the best, 1 120mm fan out will never give you the best cpu cooling.
And the nvidia case you where talking about is the nvidia haf case, with the front wind tunnel that will beat the silverstone cases in every way.
Since I've never seen the other cases or read any kind of reviews......OK.
But I would argue there isn't a better case at any cost.....especially noise levels.
The FT02 is just flat out superior in my opinion.

Im not saying that it isnt a better case, It looks far better than the ones i mentioned, Im just saying it is not the best air cooler as raw performance goes. great case st not the absolute best.

Because I of course trust what you guys says in here, but what the companies promises, is a whole other thing. Nice to see people who have tested if it actually delivers as promised.
