Wow a Raptor. Excuse me for being rude but I don't see myself paying that much money for a hard drive. Maybe you can load the map 1 second faster than my ATA 100 HDD. If you want to make up that 1 second that you lost using regular drives get 2 and run them in RAID. It just makes more sense to me that more = more.

For gaming I much prefer CRT if you have enough room for the huge friggin moniter. Go on the egg theres got to be alot cheaper raptor drives on there than that. If not get 2 7200 drives in Raid 0. Oh and if its d3 sound card and either nice headset like a sennheiser pc 150's or some nice surrouns sound speakers more a personal preference and if you got the $$$$ for the 7.1 sound =D are you planning on oc'ing?

by all means...be rude! your right though....changed.

I'm looking at building a similar config soon, although with a Chaintech NF3250 board, 2 80GB SATA in RAID0, and a Powercolor 9800SE. I just can't justify the price of a $400 graphics board when my 9700 pro still runs what I play at 1600x1200 with AA and AF (Quake 3, CoD, Age of Mythology, BF1942)
