No o/c just stock for baseline.

4910... good? bad?.

search the results browser for the avg. to high scores, see if ur hardware fits in
umm im not quite sure... seems like u should get quite a bit higher...

last time i benched my system i was 5937... so u should get close to that

Make sure all your settings are performance settings... that bumped mine up 100 points from the default settings...

but are you running at stock everything?

I just want to make sure this isnt a bad score before i start the oc process on vid and cpu.

thx.

I dunno my comp gets around 4900-5100 without overclocking with the most up to date drivers.

Edit, I just did it with a small overclock and got 5550 3D marks, better then expected with my older system.

ORB Project Comparison.....

LEARN IT!

Also, don't always expect to be in the 1st few pages of results for a similarly matched system. If you are thats good, if you're not thats ok. It just means they've got tighter timings, or possibly running at 10x240FSB, instead of 12x200FSB, etc... for same clock speed of 2.4Ghz

for some reason in the past i never could get orb compare to work with 05, hrm.. ill have to try again.

thx.

I got 5406 with: AIW x800xt, Athlon64 3000+ winchester, and a gig of ram everything at stock settings.

Yeah, that score seems a bit low, what (speed) type of ram do you have? if your FSB is too low you might try what chrisf6969 suggested and increase the FSB while lowering the multiplier. also, if you have the pro version of 05 then you should make sure that you disable all aa/af. But you really should be getting a higher score, the X800XL has 16 pipes, and enough core clockspeed to really take advantage of those pipes. Hello everyone!

BTW new 5.6 drivers are out today... try them out... I got a 124 point increase with those alone...
