So I finally have a good board that I can use with my old Slot-A processors.
I have 3 of them.
500, 700, 750.
I have yet to crack them open to see what cores they actually have in them.... but the 750 at least looks hopeful from the week to have a 900 or 950.
Hoping the 700 has at least an 800 and I want the 500 to have a 650 core.
As for the heatsink... I have a few different ones I can mod.
Stock Opty 175, one or two Intel.. and one or two socket-A ones.
As heatsink/heatpipe technology/use is much improved over the days of the Slot-A processors, I should be able to get a bit better OC than back when all we had were massive chuncks of Aluminum with 2x 50mm fans on them that sounded like a jet airplane taking off.... sold by Alpha.
