I can't take it anymore...my Viewsonic A90f+ is taking up too much of my desk...I even had to remove the pedastel to get it to fit in the space.

Newegg had this LCD on one day sale monday http://www.newegg.com/app/viewprodu...-103-191&DEPA=1

$265 Shipped. Not bad for a 17" LCD with DVI connection...I couldn't pass it up.

Hopefully it will be half decent for gaming (16ms response time (I'm not expecting miracles though)) ...but if not, at least I'll gain some real estate back.

hmmm...doesn't look like anyone cares...but I'll post a follow up anyway.

It came today...I'm really impressed. I have it hooked up to the DVI out on my GF 6800. I played Doom 3 for awhile and could detect no ghosting. The picture is really clear and the text is crisp. DVD movies look awesome too

I can't believe how much more room I have on my desk now :D

Ok, I care ;)

Actually that’s a nice monitor, not a bad price either. I agree on the desk thing, they free up so much room. My only problem with that is, I suffer from flat surface syndrome. Give me a flat surface and I’ll find something to put on it

Glad you enjoying your new toy, welcome to the LCD club

Not a bad-looking monitor.

Could you provide a link to that wallpaper you're using? :)

Dude. Do you have enough wires back there. That would bother the hell out of me.

Hope you enjoy your new monitor. I should be getting my first flat panel moniter sometime next week.

Yeah, ever since I went to LCD from a 19" crt I have been very happy. I have so much space on my desk now and it helps with studying, I love LCDs!!

updated link...looks like it's out of stock now.

It's a CTX S762G...

I can't remember where I got the wallpaper from...here is a link to it on my server:

As for the wires? Yes, there are quite a few...I have the center/control channel speaker coming down from there, another set of speakers for my test rig/station also with cables for it from my KVM...I also have my switch/router up there so there are 4 cat5 cables coming down and my cable modem is up there too :(
Guess I've just got used to it...

Welcome to the LCD Club. Arent LCD's cool... :D I have 5 of them...

I just got my CTX S762G yesterday. Very nice monitor. Mine came with 2 stuck pixels though. One red one blue. The blue one has almost faded away today. The red one also doesnt seem as noticable. I'll give them a few more days before I decide if it gets RMAed.
