I am tried of waiting for AMD to get there shit together, so I am going to built a new rig using a Q6600 CPU.
My question is what motherboard and what ram are you guys using with this CPU. I will be overclocking the CPU. What kind of number are you getting when you overclock your Q6600. I am not looking for peak numbers, what are you running everyday.

P35 chipset seems to be solid, X38 doesn't seem worth the money at all. Abit IP35 Pro, Gigabyte DS3L, DS3R, DS3P, Asus P5K's, depends on your preferences for the little features. Any DDR2-800 ram would work fine, Patriot, Gskill, Corsair, Mushkin, whatever.

I think Maverick pretty much summed it up.
I use this Ram with good results
with this MB
with any of the better Zalman, Thermalright ect..... coolers. will get you easly to 3.0+ghz. If you want to try for extreem 3.4ghz -3.6ghz use the Ultra120 extreem. To get even higher you would need to get faster RAM.
