Going crazy with gateway 2185w

Is it me or when i look at web sites, the left side of the screen is MUCH brighter than the right.....for example

look at the gray area...on the left it is brighter...than on the right side.

Anyone else see this? It's probably back light bleeding but still i dont' think it should be that bad.

it is a litle brighter on my monitor but not noticable if you arent looking for it.

Sit to the left of your monitor. Now the right side is much brighter than the left. Enjoy your S-PVA.

Yeah, i'm aware of the moving to right/left thing, however, i can make a 360 degree turn and it wont cut down on the brightness on the left side.

I'm wondering if this is normal for this particular monitor.--i.e. uneven brightness

i wouldn't concider "normal" an uneven brightness, it's a big fault imo... but if they're all like this... i guest that's just further proof that'll never get a gateway
