going crazy here? turning off dell 2007

every night before i go to sleep, i hit the power button on my dell 2007 and my other westinghouse 19v5 monitor.

when i wake up, both my monitors are in sleep mode.

i swear i turned them off the other night, yet they are on and in sleep mode?

wtf?

anyone else get this?

I have a 2007WFP and I turn mine off every night yet I don't have the problem you're having. I just turn mine back on in the morning when I get up. Interesting problem though. Wish I had an idea for you.

I think you just forgot. I have had a few dells. I always turn them off and they are never on in the morning. If you forget sleep mode does fully shut everything down other than the LED on the button.
