Go-L has gone public.

Those displays are pretty impressive looking. Too bad the company is so damn shady.

I'd really like to know how their machines perform.
People have definately bought them.

Did you see the resolutions of that 5 monitor setup....omg...would chew gpu's up and spit em out...

Ugh, it's like Infinium Labs and Michael's Computers all rolled into one!

whereisgo-l.com anyone?

I have a client that purchased one of their laptops...

There are too many things that he said that can't be repeated, as there might be children reading this thread.

All I can say is this guy has no spending limit when it comes to comps...

He didn't get what he ordered, they apparently have the worst support, and he had to eventually get his credit card company to fight it out with them to get a refund.

One other point, my client, is about as passive as they come...he just doesn't really get pissed, but everytime someone brings up that incident I swear I see flames in his eyes..

Holy crap those pics will give people in the display forum woodys

I am slightly aroused by the pics though imagine all the porn you could watch at one time?

Flight sims my ass porn on there.

Your ass porn? WTF?

gone public as in IPO?

edit: on the laptop:

Weight 9.25lbs w/o Battery and Bay options

I really don't see that as a 'portable' anymore. Considering that it has an 8-cell battery on top of that *cringe*

I still dont see any prices. In fact I dont see any difference from the last time i saw their site besides they put up more bullshit. :p

They're generally $1000-$2000 more than their Sager/Asus equivalents when using standard parts. Once you add one of their SSD storage devices, it goes up another $2000+.

Wow, there are just so many things to be said "scam" is one word that comes ot mind. Given the history of this company I wouldn't see at as a wise place to invest one's hard earned dollars.

The photoshopped displays look cool.

I don't think I'd go so far as saying that they're a scam. They certainly exaggerate and use overly-verbose descriptions in hopes to enhance the appeal of the products, though.

well they do have an IPO, and when a company IPO's, the underwriter has to calculate the companies assets...so who knows, they might be legit?

I bought 100 shares of LITL, at 1.08/share, I wont be too mad if it drops...granted, it can only go up from here.

Without naming names, there's another company who was all sizzle and pop and their stock was up in the dollar range...it's now $0.02.

Does it begin with I?

I always found it strangely, but hilariously ironic that Infinium's product was named 'Phantom'.

No one has been able to show RL pics of an actual machine from them and certinly NO one has done reviews on them, even tho many review sites/mags asked for one to use, and even tried to buy one to use.......they are way to shady

soulsaver

its killing me, i cant think of it, who was it?

fyi the LCD in the picture of this computer is photoshopped in and dosent even belong to them

http://www.go-l.com/desktops/machl38/features/index.htm

this is the original (taken by schijf)

scam1.jpg

take that for whatever its worth

oh also, the picture of the rackmount server at the top of this page

http://www.go-l.com/servers/servers/index.htm

has so many errors it isnt even funny... look at the blower near the back, you can see one of the mobo IC's THROUGH the fan?

also the motherboard isnt even plugged in and the machine is on? also those three LCD's wouldent fit in that case if you want to close it, and if you look up the model numbers the displays are showing those fujitsu drives suck
