I think every client is important.

Run Standard, SMP , GPU or what ever your system will run.

One of the things that makes this team strong is the diversity of clients running.

I'm only producing a "lowly" 4311 PPD from my 8800GT and whatever my laptop can produce, but I'll give what little I've got so we stay number one :D

I wouldn't call that lowly. That should put you at or near top 100 of almost 1400 active users in daily PPD, which is pretty good for the #1 team in my book.

I find that surprising considering I'm only running one 8800GT. It's amazing how fast these things go through work units.

My laptop is a dual core pentium m and fahmon is indicating around ~700 PPD with its work unit expected to finish in July 7.

what client? I have a Core2 mobile (T7200) running @ 2.4ghz and its getting over ~1330ppd using the SMP client
 
Not tryin' for any "brownie pernts", I've got to say Mr relic, among his penchant for sometimes speaking in a non understandable tongue in the IT mode (to some of us), is one "hell" of a motivator and on a team "chock full" of great motivators that's really sayin' something. :D

Edit: Yeah Blade', good luck on the remembering to add your "folding badge", it only took me about 6x months of sporadically remembering until I read the post about adding a "short cut" in the "bookmark" thing. (now I'm only semi sporadic) ;)

Yeah, I am hoping to get my main rig back up on Monday, since the stupid UPS guy didn't come by on Thursday. Then I'll add a Core 2 Extreme 6800 (2.93GHz), 4GB DDR2 Memory & a GTX280.

I'm assuming that Vista is the best choice so the GPU2 client doesn't take up a whole processor?

BTW, this team ROCKS!!!

I don't know about "finally"....most of us have been running it since it came out.....and since I just added another 8800GTX, expect my 8,000 PPD to go up to about 12,000..:)

 
We'll see what we can do with that gap. I'm donating 10.000 ppd to [H] in another thread. If you want in, check it out.

I'm also working on some pretty crazy stuff as we speak. ;)

Not "lowly" at all.... I personally think it's damn impressive given the hardware and all......My total production is around that on a really good day and I've got 15 borged boxen plus my home farm running 24/7 to produce that, so......yeah, not too bad man:)

Again, nice production.....

I know for some it's all about competition, and that's fine..... but in my humble opinion, it's also about the science, and every wu counts..... don't forget that.
