....who think I should get another 2405 for a dual monitor setup and dump my current 2001 (right now using a dual 2405 & 2001)....

not that I really need a dual setup but it sure looks so good!!

i was gonna do a triple display, my 2405 in the middle and 2 smaller lcds wit the same height visable area.
im having a hard time finding those with matching height so i might have to take a 17 or 19 inch and flip it sideways and put them on the sides

Like drunknbass, I thought about picking up a second 2001FP ...to have a triple monitor setup : one 2405 and two 2001FP, but It is a bit annoying not having the monitor at the same height of the 2405....

plus, having a 2 video cards in a system would generate too much heat....

hum....still deciding...

need....more......input....

I had 2 and sold one...was great. If you have the money go for it, but Im going to wait and see how the 3007 turns out since everyone here is going to have one :)
 
....the 3007 is way overkill as of now. At least that is my opinion....

I was thinking that if I will get it, I'd get either an Ergotron or a HumanScale dual monitor swiveling arms....to have them mounted a little far from me... :)
 
how do you like your setup? Why not go for 19s?

it was hard to find 2 side monitors that matched the vertical height of the 2405. the closest i could get was the 1704 in portrait mode. THey were cheap too($180 each). portrait mode is great because i can work on the main screen and put pdfs or word documents on the side screens for reference if i'm writing a paper or programming. or i could put a small tv window on the side. i don't think i would want to get any wider than it is now. as it is, i haved to turn my head a bit when using all 3 screens. i guess i could just sit a bit further back..
 
thanks! thats gonna be the 2 side monitors i pick up.. almost fit perfectly.. now i need to get that wall mount that holds three screens
