I just bought the game because all funds go towards a Japan relief foundation. I mainly bought it just as a donation but may try the game out. Has anyone ever played it? Is it any good?

Played it for about an hour. Got bored. I get bored REALLY FAST though so...eh. Take it for what it's worth.
 
Game is pretty boring, extremely instanced, and they make it quite hard to access the higher end of the over-arching PvP game beyond the merc missions.

I am getting really sick of pvp-specific shooters being third person too.

Developers seemed pretty cool during the time I was playing though, they seem to respond to the community fairly frequently.
 
I played it for a few hours, seemed like it has potential. That being said it also seems like quite a time sink. That's one of the reasons I haven't gone back to it; I have other games higher on my priority list.
 
It's a fun game. Play it casualy, have fun, and you'll get your money worth easily.

PVE ends really quick. It's just there to get you to a level that you can participate in PVP with.
 
+1 on the playing casually. For 5 bucks can easily get your money's worth.
 
Game is fun if you like PVP and whatnot. You really don't meet the good players until post 30 though, and they have better gear too :(

For $5 it's more than worth it
 
yeah PvE is very very very gimped...
but it's like a MMO TF2... (even though TF2 is getting into MMO territory now as well...)
