Give Me the Whole Lowdown On Windows Desktop or Setup a Server

How easy is this to use? Would I be better off getting Server 2003, All I really use that computer for is to download stuff etc

A7V8x Deluxe Mobo (2 Ethernet Ports0
1 120gig Maxtor
1 80 Gig Seagate

Somehow I doubt "money is no option" because you plan to spend many hundreds of extra dollars on 2K3 Server.

Anyway, regardless of that, there's no reason at all to use a server-class OS for desktop purposes. Just get XP Pro and use the Remote Desktop tool and you've got full remote access. You could even get XP Home and stick VNC on it to do the same. In fact, if you're only downloading, just get Mandrake Linux and pay nothing at all.
