My wife mods Nerf guns and the like into Steampunk weaponry and has enticed many of our friends into doing the same.

Me, I work with real ones and that's usually enough for me.

Not true...most of them have too many issues to want penis... the cosplayer ratio is not too far deviated from the standard chick ratio of easy vs standard vs hard to get. the nutjob vs non nutjob ratio is skewed here though

Exactly, While i like a girl who can be ladylike and has some traits to that nature. I can't stand the traditional types. Really the only tradition that is a MUST is the whole no penis thing.

Seriously though, why is this always such a big deal. Girls can be geeks too...and can like the same shit we do. It's actually not that uncommon if you go somewhere other than bars/work to meet girls.

Call me crazy, but I think she's rather ugly. And that's strange, since Asian looking girls is one of my favorite type, right next to Australian girls.

I'd second that, one of her eyes seems to be making a break for it.

Still, I doubt I could create better fictional weaponry and with the sheer number of Asian women out there it stands to reason they all can't be Lucy Liu. Good on her for pursuing this vs. investing in cats.

Agreed. I'm a girl and I'm absolutely a geek. I program, put my own PCs together, am developing games, a VHDL/Verilog hardware simulator (lotsa fun!) and my own CPU (just need that darn FPGA dev board now).

Fun stuff is what you feel is fun, not what society says is fun :D

If a Cosplay girl is a slut she is likely sleeping with nerdy cosplay guys.

Nerdy cosplay guys are likely to be all virgins or have only sleep with cosplay girls.

Thus 1 girl sleeping with 1000 virgin nerds = no STDS.

sounds like a safe bet to me, at least better than a girl in a bar who is looking for a guy in a bar.
