Morning all,
After around 3 months of plain sailing my Vista based comp stopped working yesterday after a normal shutdown. I wasnt getting any beeps or visual cues initially, the comp would just restart continuously in a loop. Decided to clear the CMOS and since doing so i hear what appears to be 1 long beep and 2 short beeps on boot up.
Am i right in thinking this is indicating a video fault of some sort? Board has an Award BIOS.
Strangely in the back ground there is a continuous high pitched noise occuring on boot?
Any help would be appreciated....
