Gigabyte warranty question

So im planning on buying a GTX 970 in the coming days. Im wondering, does removing the stock cooler void Gigabytes warranty? Im torn between the G1 and the MSI gaming 970. If removing the stock cooler on the Gigabyte card does indeed void the warranty, then I have no choice but to get he MSI.

There are no tamper stickers on the Gigabyte, so as long as you don't break anything nobody would be able to tell anyway.

From my experience with Gigabyte cards, they do not come with the little screw stickers that you might see on XFX cards.

Gigabyte RMAs tend be very forgiving and fuss-free.
