I have the gigabyte p67x-ud3-b3 and was wondering if anyone knew of any particular guides that would help me overclock the i5 2500k, So far I have only used the tools that came with it(software oc "easy tune 6") which seems to run great but i heard the software oc's can be dangerous. I have the stock hsf so just a mild stable overclock is all that's needed at this point.

Any idea where I can go to learn about overclocking via gigabyte bios?

Thanks in advance!

not sure if it is similar to Asus's, but I know Asus posted a thread in the Intel Motherboard section about overclocking, the process is going to be identical, just the names in the BIOS will probably be different

did you try google search? there are section for ud3 owners on varous forums. i would try that.
