I got this board at MC just now with the i3. Plan on getting an i5 2500k in the FUTURE. They said it was the best OC board they had. But i havent used it yet, wanted to know if its worth keeping, planning on getting my i5 WHEN i get it to 4500mhz or 5 if possible.

They gave me $60 off because they didnt have the free board at MC so i suppose i got a decent deal on it. I originally wanted an asus but didnt find much.

i just got my replacement ud4 b3, great board and im doing a easy 4.6ghz(@1.33) oc on my 2600k and have zero issues with this board, well built and i love the black. The Asus boards are good too so I dont think you can go wrong either way, I think most p67 boards oc pretty close to the same.

tks

Spoony, what the HELL are you trying to do man?? BRICK HIS BOARD?

THAT BIOS IS FOR THE B2 BOARD !! NOT FOR B3 !!
I mean first, you're making posts telling people that you need PLL enabled for >1.4v (which is completely, totally wrong), and now you're trying to brick people's boards? You really need to back off the post spamming...

The correct latest beta BIOS for the B3 UD4 is:
http://www.fileden.com/files/2009/12/20/2696817/p67aud43.3b.zip
(f3b).

You can always find the newest ones at http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte/28441-gigabyte-latest-beta-bios.html

STRONGLY advised to flash to this BIOS. Fixes some boot loops, improves the BIOS gui speed, lets board retain OC settings after unplugging AC power, even stops boot loops after clearing the CMOS. etc.

(Pressing the RESET button will still cause 3 boots and an immediate loss of OC settings, however).
