I just went to purchase this mobo (which was recommended to me by a member on here a few months ago) for my new rig from scan.co.uk, only to find it no longer exists on their website. Has it been discontinued?!
They still have the cheaper UD3P, is this model any good?

If so what would be a good replacement by the same company for roughly the same price? AM2+ system, DDR2 PC800

the 770-ud3p v2 and 770t-ud3p, these are budget boards, but they do have the ability to unlock and carry the SB 710 which has ACC (the important thing for unlocking).
I had the 770-ud3p v1 and it had the SB700 (which sucked IMO).
The best I could get my x3 710 stable was 3.3ghz, (no chance for unlock).
Now I am on the 790xt-ud4p and I absolutely love it, much better I now have my 4th core unlocked and testing stability @ 3.7ghz.
so, this is pretty much my thoughts, if you buy an unlocked multi chip the ud3p will suite your needs (or if your not into o/cing much), but my experience with the ud3p was it didn't like the ref clock at high speeds.
Just 1 persons experience with the board, and that was on version 1 of the board.

Thanks 0m3g4.
Overclocking is of little concern to me at the moment with my current skills/abilities, may be one day in the future but will most likely have upgraded again by then anyway.
I just want a nice, reliable board which isnt too expensive, this seems to fit the bill. I've have already now ordered the MA790X-UD3P so will see how it goes

what cpu did you happen to pair up with on this board?
honestly, I think you could easily do the o/c, a couple hundred mhz is easily attained with very minor adjustments (though after market cooling is a must once you start pumping up the volts, and that is yet another added expense). There are tons of guides for it and if you ever have problems the members here would be more than willing to help, and if all else false you can always pull the battery, use the jumper, or load optimized defaults in the bios and run it stock.
I hope you enjoy the board.
