Gigabyte gtx 970 difference? if any?

[CtrlAltDefeat]

I am thinking about doing kinda a side upgrade.
currently have a reference R9 290 and just want to try Nvidia and considering the Gigabyte 970.
Is there any difference between the 2 cards currently offered by them, other than the clock speed?
thanks!

Back plate and shroud are different. It looks like the fans may be a bit different too.

the gigabyte GTX 970 G1 gaming have a better heatsink and also backplate.. but those cards have binned chips who offer superior overclocking abilities even the out of the box will be way higher than the regultar Gigabyte GTX 970, actually the Gigabyte G1 are the best overclocking models out there..
