GIGABYTE GA-E7AUM-DS2H overclocking

Anyone have experience with overclocking the GIGABYTE GA-E7AUM-DS2H?
I set it at 1333 FSB stock volts and got an immediate BSOD, went down to 1200 and running LinX right now.
I've heard E7200 chips have tons of headroom, but I also heard this isn't the best overclocking board.
 
well I don't know what the stock vCore was, but I appear to be stable at 1333 FSB 1.200 vCore
have run every stability test I can think of
will post screens later

tried 1600 FSB and it wouldn't even get to the Windows loading screen with 1.35 vCore
 
pvhk has one of these boards and he seemed to think that it was a decent overclocker. I think he posted a few screenshots in a thread about the DFI 9400, if you are interested.
 
If you check the 4th page on that thread, it can go much higher, it seems.

I don't know why my system is so much worse, but I can not get 1600 FSB no matter what I do
I tried raised the voltages as high as I dared
CPU 1.4
Chipset +0.2 (max)
FSB +0.3 (max)
RAM 2.0
even downclocked the RAM to 667 MHz

PS: 40 ppp

I have a Q8400 and a D805 and if I try to adjust the vcore on either one of them with this board it wont POST, what am I doing wrong?
 
Sorry to jump in on this one but I am having similar problems, I cannot get FSB past 1480 tops, only increase applied is .1v to fsb, extra voltage doesn't make a blind bit of difference...

Spec is -

GA-E7AUM-DS2H Motherboard - 1333fsb (only supports ddr800??)
Intel Core 2 Quad 9550
AC Freezer Low Profile
4 X 2GB Kingston HyperX 1066 @ 800 due to board limitation
2 X 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 - Stripe Raid
Enermax Noisetaker 480w

I must be doing something wrong... I updated my bios to the latest before attempting any overclock, could this be my problem, would I be better with an older bios...

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated, I understand that most Yorkfield processors can hit 3.4ghz very easily with little or no voltage increase.... many are reporting a comfortable 3.8ghz with decent cooling.
