I recently bought one of these as I was looking for a stable and cheap motherboard combo. I also bought an i5 3570k processor. I planned to overclock a little probably to 4ghz as the room I keep the pc in gets hot and caused my last computer to become unstable in the summer. I noticed in the bios that I was able to modify the multiplyer, but when I attempted to do it I was only able to increase it to 36 from 34. Is this board unable to overclock or is it my processor? It allows me to oc the bus speed, but I doubt I'll get too far that way.

I only paid $35 for the mobo at MC so won't feel to bad if I need to buy another, as I can probably unload this one for the same price.
 
You can adjust the CPU multiplier higher on P67, Z68, Z75, and Z77 boards. There is little to no overclocking options on everything else.
 
Did you set your memory to XMP to profile 1?
For me I will try to over clcok first my cpu with bios default value.
Then only try to over clcok my memory to sort out both CPU and memory can over clock.
If both work, then I set both together.
Please do add CPU or memory voltage a little to check and enable LLC for cpu to high or medium for Vdroop disable.
