the only mod i have is that thing i nailed on to the top. slightly disappointed, went from a blue wavemaster to this. quieter, lighter, taller, side panels are easier to remove then the wave. but i think the sides and top are spray painted sheet steel. fans turn too slow, not getting enough from the intake in front. i will swap it out for a thermaltake or antec 2000 rpm, because my vid card's and chiset temps very high. or maybe put a hole and fan in the window. feets (feets) are cheesy and loose. door opens on wrong side for a righty, and no way to switch. everything inside that front door is plastic. nice big window, hides psu and cabling also hides the floor so you could stash a light or something here if you did that kind of stuff. my cpu temps are slightly lower. drive cage non removable. better cases around (wavemaster) for the yard and a half, but most of the nice new cases, stacker 830, temjin tj07, lian li v1xxx, 2xxx are all $250 and up.

i thought the same thing, thats why ive made a few modifications

1. drilled out the HDD cage and turned it 90 degrees
2. put an antec 2000rpm in front :p
3. cut out the stamped grill on front, behind fan
4. removed the inside mesh of the side panel, only left the big hole unremovable mesh from teh outside
cut
5. cut holes at the back for wire management

looks nice thought ! :)

ii love that case. but iam still leaning towards the silver stone TJ-07. i had one of those cats a few years ago. it use to bite me everynight when i would be sleeping. it was a awesome cat either way.

yea i liked the silverstone better too. but cant go for $350 for casing right now. i get a new case every year around christmas. maybe next year. he bites my feets thru the blankets in the morning. his mother and father and brothers and sisters are modern siamese. 1 of these guys (traditional balinese) turns up once every 100,000 to 150,000 litters. his name is "tennis ball head"

Nice case, but I wouldn't buy anything other than my Lian Li right now. Nice cat also, I have one just like that with slightly different markings.

haha i've had to grab my cat a few times to keep him from sticking his nose in my 120mm HS fan.

that would not be a good thing.

I had to stop my cat from sticking her nose on my video card (in the area of the GPU). That wouldn't have been pretty.

Hmm...the case sure looks nice in pics, but it's really cheesy huh? *makes note to avoid*

Nice looking case, I prefer it without the lighting though.

I like more industrial looking things.

the fans( thats what lights up the case) only spin like 900rpm, with is silent, but not enough airflow for my machine. unless i watercool my cpu, which i am considering, i will prob swap out all 3 fans, get smart fans for the 2 rear exhaust fans, and get another 4 led 2000rpm fan for the front that i will control with my cheap fan controller.i like the blue effect on the front of the case. so it will stay relative quiet. much quieter that my wavemaster that had 5x80mm fans and the 92mm vantec h.e. (helicopter engine) on the xp90.

edit its not cheesy. just the feets (feets). and if the side and top panels are really steel (i think they are) instead of aluminum, that would be cheesy also.

Hey Vanilla, I just bought this case and it will be here tomorrow (thanks once again to the egg's great shipping locations). My question is, is the mobo tray removable, and if not how hard is it to work around the inside of the case? I also bought an A8N32 SLi board, so I am curious of how difficult it's going to be to get it in the case. Thanks for the help!

nope no removable Mobo tray. Its pretty easy to work wih inside, but you cannot hide all the cables, allow airflow path yes, just not hide them in every corner. Hope you enjoy it :)

I like the case and the Mod. Can you tell me if a PA160 rad would fit on the inside. If it does than a guy could mount 1 inside and 1 outside. be a nice set up.

I raise simiese cats . the one you got there is what i call a red very valiable pussy you have there.I also believe there more rare than you suggest.

its very roomy. i am sure you could mount 1 inside no sweat. its wider than my wavemaster, and much taller. depth seems pretty equal.

if you raise siamese, you know these kittys show up very rarely in siamese litters. as kittens , they look like the other kittens, and are usually runty so get given away or put down. the full name is "apple headed traditional balinese" and they cannot be bred. they are strictly mutants. but breeders match then with like-colored siamese and have a breed called "modern balinese" which are sort of siamese looking with thick tails, and bright blue eyes like he has. he also has the rag-doll reflex, so when people he feels comfortable with pick him up, he goes completely limp. sorry to be off topic, but i love my kitty. i have heard that if i bought him it would have cost over $1200.

Off topic:

Love the kitty... I used to breed Persians, Himalayans, and Persians... I'm not familiar with the exact breed your refrencing but $1200 might be a little low. All of my cats were either Grand Campions or 1 generation from Grand Champions. I showed them for a few years then bred them all... a regular kitten from a Grand Champion x Grand Champion pairing would fetch $400-600 easily depending on color. You're probably a little low at $1200.

Yes... the average litter was 4 kittens, at $600/ea... my cats made more getting laid then I did slaving over a desk. There really is money to be made in the sex industry.

hes around 2years old. he is the only cat here so i didnt get him fixed, which can get a bit gnarly. but he's been pretty good about it, and there this product called urine gone. been thinking about breeding him but i dont want to ship around the country by jet in a box.

with this talk about breeding, he got interested..
