Gigabyte 6850

Very quiet. The gigabyte cards get great reviews for noise. The 6950 is roughly 25% faster than a 6850, all things being equal, but really, you DO need more than 1GB of RAM to run things the best at 5760x1080.
However, that said, you also need more than a 6850, or even one 6950, to run the sort of games/settings at that res, that would cause you to need more than 1GB of RAM in the first place. A 6950 will still be faster in absolute, but while it may solve memory issues, both are simply too slow to ever make use of much more than 1GB anyway, especially at that enormous res.
