Gigabit Ethernet...Cat6 required?

Was thinking about buying a gigabit switch since I have integrated gigabit ports on my 2 machines. Question is - do I need to get Cat6 cable to get full effect of Gigabit or will my Cat5e be fine?

EH, i'd go with cat6 if it's just for 2 machines, or i guess that depends on what kind of file tranfers your doing.
