Giant II + 9800pro = sucks?

Or is just that i installed the giant II wrong? (it doesnt look wrong, its exactly as it should be...by looking at the install manual) could it maybe be because i used AS5 in the card core? I had in mind it would be better than the crappy one that came with the giant.

Memory goes up to 380 but that has nothing to do with the giant.

My core doesnt go up 400mhz and even at stock core/mem if i play for an hour i get a "No label" error from VPU and crash to desktop.

If you have a 9800pro + a Giant II cooler please post your OC results. :)

the AS5 should be helping not hurting...

have you tried remounting it? you may be overheating due to poor contact with the core

i would say its a heat issue if your getting errors at stock speeds, and didnt get them befor, unless you b0rked some component on the card while doing the install...
