GF6800 Ultra and Doom 3

With systems specs below I ran bench em all and got

1024x768 17.2 fps
1280x1024 16.7 fps
This was at ultra settings with 71.90 drivers
WTF. I figured I should have higher than that. Any ideas
 
What did you have your anti-aliasing set at? What about antisitropic filtering?

When I ran a single 6800GT it would run at 1600x1200 but if I went higher than say 2x on the AA and more than 8x on the AF it ran pretty choppy.

Still your benchmarks in that game seem pretty bad. Do you have this problem in any other game?

Is Doom 3 patched to the latest version?

I had a similar problem in HL2, what I did was I had turned on AA and AF in the Nvidia control panel and the game defaulted to having it on too. Having AA and AF enabled in both places didn't work too well.

So what I realized is that if the game has the settings in game for AA and AF I use those. If not, I will setup it's profile in the NV control panel so that AA and AF are enabled for those titles that don't have it in their menus.
 
AA and AF are off in everything. This is a fresh install of windows and drivers also. Testing other game and benchmarks now.
 
that is about a 10th of what you should be getting....
your psu is fine....however, though this is the one that i will be getting in my new system, when did you buy it?
as the first shipment (i.e 3 months ago) from their factory were all a bit buggered due to bad handling. they are all fine now, but i would look there.
other than that, maybe reinstall windows?

I got it from newegg and Yes i did get a bad one from first batch. It killed my x800 xt-pe card :( . OCZ replaced it with a bfg 6800 ultra OC so I am happy till now. New install of windows that is about 13 hours old. Newest nvidia mb drivers, vid drivers are 71.90. I test in 3dmark 2k5 and get 6100 points. But in cpu tests I only get .5 fps in both. So I have no clue what is going on. Sandra tests my cpu as fine and faster than any other 2.4 ghz A64 cpu in list. Memory bandwidth at 3900. SO I have no clue what is going on.
