My Vista HTPC is put to sleep when not in use. When resuming from sleep it asks for a password. Is there anyway to either disable this or make it auto login when resuming from sleep?
It's hard to enter a password via the remote!

Power Options, Edit your Current Plan, Advanced, Additional Settings, Require Password on Wakeup=No

Open Control Panel, use Classic View.

Open Power Options.

Click the link that says "Change Plan Setting" on the plan you are using (probably Balanced).

Click the link that says "Change Advanced Power Settings"

One of the first selection you should see in the list of power settings is "Require a Password on Wakeup" for On-Battery and Plugged-in. Change Plugged-In to "No".

That should do the trick.

Edit: doh someone beat me to it lol
