Getting stuck pixels "unstuck"?

A few days ago I received my new Hyundai ImageQuest L90D+ TFT monitor, but it has two stuck pixels. One light green and one dark red. Is there a way for me to make them "unstuck"?
 
You can try gently massaging the panel through a very soft cloth. I have read many people have had luck doing that, but it doesn't always work.

I did for a few minutes, but it didn't work. Perhaps I wasn't pressing hard enough?
 
I had a tiny red pixel stuck on my ibm thinkpad and was so upset, i showed it to my girlfriend and when i pointed at it i accedently touched it and it went away. try massaging it like someone suggested, you can actually push fairly hard untill you do some real dammage (try it with an old lcd first)
 
I had one on my Samsung. I was pissed. Then it went a way and a red one popped up. I was pissed again. Then it disappeared. Now it looks perfect.

I guess I was just lucky.
 
How big is the chance that it might go away? I've had this monitor since wednesday.
 
I recently purchased a Samsung 710t and i had 2 dead pixels i was able to rub one of them and it went away while the other is still there but i have to search for it and it takes me time to find it so no big deal.
 
Rubbing sometimes helps, but if it doesn't, gently poking that pixel may do the trick. However, notice the word GENTLY!
 
LOL I can imagine someone saying I rubbed the screen but now I have a whole lot of dead pixels grouped together that dont even lit up "Hey it looks like an imprint of my finger". haha :p

funny if it wasn't your screen...lol

you can almost tell which stuck pixels will go and which will stay. i had quite a few when i first opened it, but a few of them went away by itself...the ones that weren't as bright or noticeable atleast.

unfortunately the ones that were noticeable are here to stay...matter of luck. some will come back later on also.
 
In general if it's dead...it's dead. I've only been able to "revive" a pixel once and it wasn't so much dead as it looked as though fluorescent green light was pouring out of it like the pixel wasn't activated or something. I had a friend with a Dell laptop that had 5-6 dead pixels and because they weren't near each other, he was stuck with it. If you've only got one dead pixel and it's not in a bad place, you're not that bad off.
 
Apparently my retailer accepts up to 3 dead pixels before they can switch the monitor. Sucks for me since I only have 2 dead ones.
 
wow.....I just rubbed out an annoying RED stuck pixel!! w00t!!
