I have a stuck red pixel on my new vp171b. Is there any way at all to get rid of it? Rubbing the screen hasn't worked. I've read that using a laser is an option - yet what do you do with the laser?
There are no guaranteed ways of making a stuck/dead pixel normal. To some people, the gentle rubbing of the area does the trick, but to others it don't. It may even start functioning after some time passes by even without you doing anything to it.
Don't try too hard to make it disappear, because you might end up making it worse. If the gently rubbing didn't work, I doubt anything else would.
