Getting rid of irritating paragraph icon on my word

I've this irritating icon on my ms word document everywhere. It resides at the end of each line or paragraph. Anyone knows how do I get rid of it?

This is the icon that appears everywhere on my ms word document but it doesnt appear when I do a print preview of the document. Anyone knows how do i remove this?

Tools -> Options -> View Tab

Midway down that page there is a formatting marks entry, uncheck paragraph marks.
