how come in the fs/ft rules it says make sure to get the buyers full name / address / phone number? what good does that do? i mean if you sell somebody something, and you ship first, and they dont pay, what good would there phone number do?

i know there has to be a reason but i cant think of one, sorry if this is a stupid question, but please respond
 
If a FS/T deal goes awry, it is helpful to have contact info that you have confirmed in advance. A quick phone call may cost you a few cents, but if the deal goes bad and then you try to call them and it's a wrong number, you might be screwed.

BTW, all trading here is done at your own risk. Taking precautions to protect yourself is like wearing a condom. :)
