Getting good quality video through VIVO

Hey guys, I have a Gigabyte X800XT 256Mb VIVO, but when I run it through DScaler the picture looks so washed out and dull. I have a 20" Sony TV in my room thats like 5-6 years old and it looks great going through the standard RCA inputs. Its not even HDTV. My PC moniter is a NEC FE991Sb ( very high end ) Is there anyway to get good IQ through the videocard? I really wanna play GT4 on my computer moniter :D
