When I moved from windows to Mac I transferred all these files fine. Now months later I am trying to transfer some back and all I get is errors.
The usb hard drive is fat 32 formatted. I grab a folder to copy and a few will copy and then it spits back:
"The Finder cannot complete the operation because some data in ***** could not be read or written. (Error code - 36)."
The files work fine so they are not corrupted.
For a second I thought it might be invalid file naming as that can cause issues between different formats but it is happening to files like abc.png and stuff like that.
Why the heck is it doing this? I REALLY need these files asap.
