Well pretty much just as the title says. I'm selling my PNY 5900 to my friend for 150 dollars and I'm going to be buying the BFG 6800GT for 400 dollars from bestbuy. My question is what are the best drivers for it? Any cool software for tweaking it? I'll be overclocking it of course, but just a little bit more probably, just whatever it can handle with the default cooling on it, not really a hardcore overclocker. Any info will help, thanks! My current specs are below and slowly I'm building myself a new PC, just doing one piece at a time because well college isn't cheap :(

PNY 5900 440-880 [(default 400-850) To be replaced with the BFG of course]

First off, I just got my card from BB, and I love it. You won't regret getting it.
As for drivers, I really have no idea what drivers i'm using. (just the ones that came on the cd).
Do a google search for coolbits, its a reghack that allows overclocking in the normal nvidia driver control. It works great for me
 
Hehe I guess I should have said that I already have RivaTuner on my computer. Is there anything other than that though? Because well probably like most users out there you get bored and want to mess around with things. Right now for my PNY I'm using the
67.02 Drivers, but want to know of other users who have this card which drivers they prefer. And wow that was a really quick reply, god I love this forum. I've been looking on this forum for probably 4 years now and just recently signed up hehe.

Good choice in cards First off you wont be disapointed ;) Second Drivers are really a just wait until you get the card and see which ones work for you. 60,77 were my best.Rivatuner for overclocking ;) You cant go past it.And around about 390/400 core speeds of most GTs i have seen including My own :D Have fun!
 
Guys there is a wonderful thing on these forums called search i know of atleast 10 threads about i'm getting a 6800 GT and what drivers should i use and probably another 100 on what drivers are in general :rolleyes:

But if I did a search then that wouldn't give anyone to flame me on. I mean what kind of world would this be if everyone was intelligent and there were no flaming on forums? The world would almost come to a complete stop. ;)
