Hey guys, its been about a year since I've been able to fold, Im looking to get back into it now that I have the means to do it comfortably (no issues with leaving it folding 24/7)

I downloaded GPU Tracker and got it running like I remember, currently at ~32,000PPD, no more -bigadv i see, but GPU folding has taken a giant leap forward. Am I fine right now or is there anything I can do to increase my PPD?

ive been thinking of always picking up another for some watercooled SLI goodness... brb going to ebay...

WOW! 100k PPD from my 560ti!

Sounds a bit low actually. Make sure you're using core 15 version 2.22. The newer version 2.25 core causes Fermi cards to score a lot lower than they are potentially able to.

You can check which version of the core you are running in your log. You're specifically looking for the version number as displayed in this post:

There is a download link and instructions in this post:

Nice to have this five liters of displacement back on the job.

I never understood why they call it a "problem"

I have had drinking "problems", hotrod "problems", 4X4 "problems", gun "problems"...

none of them were problems

Welcome back. As for :

I'd have to agree with jojo. I don't have a drinking problem either, i LIKE drinking ;) and my teens look at my folding farm and think I have a computers problem

the only real problem I seem to be having is no 8057 goodness on my 560Ti and I set the -betateam flag over 2 weeks ago. tried it on the shortcut as well as in the config (not both at once), still no luck ...

I don't see any problems either, I see hobbies in action.

For those of you on the beta team (eh-hem), of my 8 8057 capable GPUs, 5 currently have one and the rest have the cursed 762x series. Of course it is the 3x 5xx-series GPUs that don't have 8057s while the 460s all do. Sigh.

In the interim, I'm watching ebay UK for more 570/580 GPUs at a decent price. They've only recently gotten down to ~£110 for 570s, if you are prudent.

Disclaimer: I am on the beta team.

EDIT: The 762x series now have a QRB and aren't quite as cursed, but still not as good as the 8057s.

How much ppd are the 580 getting?

EDIT around 200-210k ppd, not bad.

Indeed, I remain optimistic they will get the keplers dialed in. The 670 is 1344 cuda cores and I got one running 1100mhz....110-120k ppd though...
