After using Macs for the last couple of years I want to get back into building and using PC's.
Here is the Rig I'm thinking of building:

Do you all think this is overboard for a gaming rig? Any ideas where I could maybe save a little money?
 
850W psu?!?!?

for that rig max you need is 550W thatll save you some money...do you want to oc?

get a differenct drive the raptors are overboard
 
Yeah I was hoping I could downgrade to the 500W PSU. I do want to overclock. Would choosing the 3800+ and then oc it be a good choice? That would save a bit.

Basically I just want to run the newest games maxed out.
