Going to get back into folding out of boredom I guess. heh. I have 3 machines I can run a client on... what are you guys folding these days? Have a team I can join?

If you're looking for a team, you've found it. We're running folding@home version 4.0 right now. When you set it up on your machines, just enter 33 for the team number and you'll be on Team [H]! Go ahead and read the stickies for more info and ask any other questions you might have. Welcome aboard!

Folding.stanford.edu is broken? It just worked for me...or am I missing something?

The console version has to be somewhat faster than the graphical version just because it doesn't do the graphics part. Is it enough difference for you to tell in your points production? Probably not. Nobody's made a big deal about using either client, so I'm assuming the differences are very, very small.

Ah alright. Was thinking about resinstalling there real quick. I guess it's not a big deal though. :)

Thanks that link worked. :)

Also, in there FAQ, they say the GUI version (screen saver) takes apox %5 more CPU on a system without an OpenGL video card and takes apox "no cpu" on systems with a OpenGL capable video card.

I'm running the console versions, just added 2 on my dual MP box and one on my laptop at work (700 mhz pent II)
:)
